How to Install Magento Sample Data

In this video I show you how to install sample data in Magento. This basically creates products and categories in your store. The written tutorial can be seen at:

Keep in mind that installing sample data will cause you to lose any products and categories that you currently have in your store — that is if you already installed Magento.

By the way i faced a problem to import sample data to my local machine 

i got a Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds . . .  .. 

added this line 
MY_XAMPP_FOLDER/phpMyAdmin/config.inc.php
$cfg['ExecTimeLimit'] = 6000; 

restart server  and problem solved 🙂
